Alan Ralph Joins Cairn Homes as Independent Non-Executive Director

Cairn Homes plc, a leading Irish homebuilding company, has appointed Alan Ralph as an independent non-executive director. His appointment takes effect on 1 July 2026. Ralph will also join the company's Audit & Risk Committee and the Remuneration Committee.

The decision followed a comprehensive selection process led by an independent search agency. This move is part of Cairn's strategy to refresh and strengthen its Board with experienced professionals.

Ralph, a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, brings significant leadership, finance, and governance experience. He currently holds non-executive director positions at DCC plc and Origin Enterprises plc, where he chairs the Audit Committees. His previous roles include notable positions at UDG Healthcare plc.

Bernard Byrne, Cairn's Chairman, expressed confidence in Ralph's appointment, citing his expertise as crucial for the company's growth phase.
