Camino Minerals Secures Environmental Approval for Costa de Cobre Expansion
Camino Minerals Corp has gained significant environmental approval for its Costa de Cobre copper project in Peru. The approved modification expands the exploration area by 94%, reaching 11,671.90 hectares, and allows for 611,840 meters of total drilling, covering key copper fault trends.
This milestone enables Camino to advance its exploration strategy, including 280 drill platforms and 1,282 potential drill holes. Approval came after thorough reviews by Peru's Ministry of Energy and Mines and the National Water Authority.
Camino CEO Jay Chmelauskas highlighted the project's enhanced flexibility to assess high-priority targets and integrate new copper trends. While preparing for regulatory requirements, Camino is also expanding its investor reach through collaboration with Market One Media Group.
