Carrefour and Partners Boost Retail Media in France and Spain
On December 9th, 2025, Carrefour, Carmila, Unlimitail, and JCDecaux announced a strategic partnership to enhance retail media through indoor Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) at shopping centres in France and Spain. This initiative will also include outdoor OOH and DOOH solutions in access areas to these centres. JCDecaux will oversee the management of advertising assets, integrating innovative technologies with a focus on energy efficiency.
This collaboration, the largest of its kind in France by JCDecaux, will span 161 shopping centres and 297 access areas, with a focus on digital and analogue advertising enhancements. The project aligns with Carrefour and Carmila's transformation strategies, aiming to modernize shopping locations and improve customer experiences.
Digital advancements will be introduced in 2026 to strengthen JCDecaux's position in Spain, covering 91 indoor and 88 outdoor locations. This network, integrated with Unlimitail's platforms and enriched by Carrefour's data, will offer advertisers measurable campaign performance metrics.
