Ylang Ylang, first BREEAM NC certified building in the Indian Ocean

The Ylang Ylang shopping center, owned by CBo Territoria in Mayotte, has become the first new building to receive BREEAM New Construction certification in the Indian Ocean. This distinction underscores the real estate group's long-term commitment to the Mayotte region.

Opening in October 2023, Ylang Ylang will house a Carrefour supermarket, various retailers such as Mr Bricolage and C'TAM, and a 15-store gallery. The project focuses on exemplary environmental practices such as the installation of smart water meters, water-saving equipment, and photovoltaic panels.

Efforts to reduce environmental impact and improve infrastructure resilience are recognized by BREEAM certification. This success is part of CBo Territoria's "Impact Péi 2030" strategy, aimed at strengthening sustainability in its areas of operation.
