CCL Industries Acquires IDESCO and IDSecurityonline.com

CCL Industries Inc., a leader in specialty label and packaging solutions, has announced the acquisition of IDESCO Holding Corporation and IDSecurityonline.com. These Manhattan-based companies specialize in secure badging and identification, with 2024 sales reaching approximately $21.5 million. The transaction is valued at about $19 million and was completed debt-free in cash, pending customary closing conditions.

This acquisition aims to expand Avery's portfolio in badging and credential technologies. Geoffrey T. Martin, CEO of CCL Industries, highlighted the strategic enhancement of Avery's product line through this purchase. The acquisition aligns with the company's focus on integrating software and related supplies into their offerings.
