Ardian Acquires Majority Stake in centrotherm international AG

Centrotherm international AG has announced the successful closing of a transaction with Ardian Semiconductor. The private investment firm has acquired a 90% stake in the company, becoming the new majority shareholder. The deal was completed following the satisfaction of all closing conditions.

The previous majority shareholder, Solarpark Blautal GmbH, will reinvest part of the proceeds and maintain an indirect 39.5% stake. This reflects the ongoing commitment of the Hartung founding family to the company.

Ardian plans to leverage its global network and industry expertise to support centrotherm's strategic growth in the semiconductor and photovoltaic sectors. Centrotherm AcquiCo AG, controlled by Ardian, has initiated a squeeze-out procedure under merger law as part of the restructuring.
