Charwood Energy Achieves 19% Revenue Growth in 2024

Charwood Energy, a French company specializing in biomass energy solutions, announced a 19% increase in revenue for 2024, reaching €5.0 million. The company provides custom biomass energy solutions to various external clients including farms and local authorities.

Key developments in 2024 included a contract for upgrading a sawmill's heating facility, the launch of a gasification demonstrator in France, and capacity expansion at the Saint-Nolff site. Charwood also forged a partnership with Schmid Energy Solutions and initiated a new pyro-gasification range.

The company's forward order book stands at €4.3 million. Additionally, the development of five power plants is ongoing, including a significant project with Verallia France, set to begin in 2025.

Charwood Energy is adjusting its strategy to balance third-party services with proprietary energy sales, enhancing revenue visibility and diversification.
