Charwood Energy Secures New Biomass Projects with Idex

Charwood Energy has announced its engagement in two significant projects in partnership with Idex, a prominent player in France's energy transition. The projects, valued at over €2.4 million, involve developing biomass heating systems and underscore Charwood's capabilities in providing sustainable energy solutions.

The first project is the design and construction of a biomass heating system for Val d’Isère. Charwood is deploying a 750 kw system in a compact, containerized silo, addressing challenges posed by the mountainous location. The project was initiated in 2024, with completion expected by Q1 2025.

The second initiative focuses on an agri-food manufacturer in Brittany. Charwood will implement a turnkey modular biomass system to decarbonize the site's heat production. This €2 million project includes advanced features like an 850 kw biomass boiler and a gas backup, ensuring efficient operations and reduced emissions.
