Charwood Energy wins the GRDF call for projects for green gas

Charwood Energy, specializing in the energy recovery of biomass, announced that its subsidiary, Charwood Innovation, is one of the winners of the call for projects launched by GRDF. This project, entitled "Specification and injection of gas from pyrogasification," aims to prove the feasibility of injecting green gas produced by this process into gas infrastructure, contributing to energy decarbonization.

GRDF is supporting this project with €400,000 in funding for each winner, thus facilitating the necessary technological developments and studies. Charwood Innovation, based in Morbihan, stands out for its expertise in pyrogasification technologies and its ambition to integrate this process on an industrial scale.

This initiative aims to diversify green gas sources and strengthen local energy independence. The first injections into the networks managed by GRDF are planned for next year.
