Charwood Energy, W&nergy's fundraising success

Charwood Energy's subsidiary W&nergy has successfully completed its crowdfunding campaign on Enerfip, raising €1.92 million. This funding marks a crucial milestone for W&nergy and Charwood Energy in the development of their biomass-based renewable energy production units.

The pyrogasification project in Cognac, developed for Verallia, embodies this strategy. The installation is expected to produce 30,000 MWh of renewable syngas, covering 20% of the glass furnace's energy needs and reducing CO₂ emissions by 6,000 tonnes per year.

This fundraising round, initially set at €2 million, demonstrates the investors' commitment to the energy transition. With this success, W&nergy plans to expand its industrial projects for local renewable gas production in France.
