Cherry SE Announces Leadership Change at Cherry Digital Health GmbH

On March 1, 2025, Dr. Philip Groth will assume the role of Managing Director at Cherry Digital Health GmbH, a subsidiary of Cherry SE. Dr. Groth brings extensive experience in the pharma and health tech sectors, emphasizing leadership and strategic transformation. He takes over from Gerrit Schick, who departs the company on March 17, 2025.

Renowned for his strategic and operational leadership skills, Dr. Groth has held pivotal roles at CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. KGaA and Bayer AG. As the former CEO of Cerascreen GmbH, he advanced digital products to market readiness. In his new position, Dr. Groth will guide Cherry's global digital health strategy, focusing on software and cloud services, and expanding international presence.

Cherry's eHealth domain, having grown significantly under Schick, leverages a leading market position in eHealth terminals. The 2025+ strategy includes digital eHealth development, a cloud and hardware roadmap, and launching new healthcare services.
