Cherry SE Plans Sale of Business Segment

Cherry SE has announced plans to sell one of its two business segments. The choices are between "Digital Health & Solutions" and "Peripherals". The decision comes as the company faces continued financial constraints, despite previous restructuring efforts. The "Digital Health & Solutions" segment includes e-health terminals, mobile devices, firmware, software, and cloud solutions. Meanwhile, "Peripherals" offers a range of gaming devices and peripherals for office, industrial, and security use.

The management intends to use the proceeds from the sale to decrease liabilities and strengthen the remaining business with necessary financial resources for growth. The move underscores Cherry SE's strategic shift to enhance liquidity and support future expansion plans. Oliver Kaltner, Chairman of the Board, is overseeing this M&A process.
