Chery Debuts Transformable 7-Seater SUV in Indonesia
Chery Automobile has unveiled its first transformable 7-seater SUV, the "Chery X", in Jakarta, Indonesia, marking a significant step in family mobility solutions. Launched during the GAIKINDO Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW), the event was led by Zhou Dinghua from Chery International, attracting 100 Indonesian media outlets.
The SUV's design features a striking "tiger roar" front grille, "tiger eye" taillights, and adaptable interior. It aims to address various family needs with configurations for daily commuting, luxury travel, and off-road adventures. Sporting a length of 4,900 mm and a wheelbase of 2,800 mm, Chery X is built for Indonesia's challenging terrains, including a waterproofed powertrain and 220 mm ground clearance.
This launch enriches Chery's SUV lineup in Indonesia, enhancing its market competitiveness and offering versatile lifestyle solutions.
