Compagnie des Alpes Sells Chaplin’s World Operations
Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) has announced the completion of its subsidiary By Grévin SA's sale, which operates the Chaplin's World site in Vevey, Switzerland, to Compagnie Chargeurs Invest. The deal ensures all current staff remain employed, except for the manager, who transitions to new responsibilities within CDA.
In the financial year 2024/25, Chaplin’s World generated a revenue of approximately €5 million. This divestment aligns with CDA’s ongoing strategy to streamline its portfolio and focus resources on its core sectors in the leisure industry.
Upcoming financial updates from CDA include the second quarter revenue on April 28 and the first half results on May 21, 2025/26, post-market close.
