Compagnie des Alpes: Solar progress at Futuroscope

Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) and GreenYellow have inaugurated the first solar power plant at Futuroscope. This 5.3 MWp self-consumption installation marks a key milestone in the solarization program targeting three parks. The next two phases will take place at Walibi Rhône-Alpes and Parc Astérix.

Launched in January 2025, the Futuroscope project produces 6.3 GWh/year. In addition to renewable energy, these PV car park canopies enhance the visitor experience by providing protection and infrastructure for electric vehicles.

The overall objective is to cover more than 25% of the self-consumed electricity needs of these parks, with an ambition to eventually produce 15% of the group's total consumption through photovoltaics.
