Opening of the night train service between Amsterdam and the French Alps
On April 16, 2026, Travelski, a subsidiary of Compagnie des Alpes, announced a new overnight rail service between the Netherlands and the French Alps for the 2026/2027 winter season. This extension, operated by Pegasus Trains, will connect Amsterdam to Bourg-Saint-Maurice via Rotterdam, Antwerp, and Brussels. Nearly 400 sleeper berths will be available, strengthening Travelski's low-carbon offering across Europe.
The Travelski Night Express Paris-Bourg-Saint-Maurice has already proven its success with an 85% occupancy rate and has won over skiers with its comfort and efficiency. The new routes promise a 100% electric journey and enhanced comfort features to offer travelers an unparalleled experience.
