Condor Resources Confirms Porphyry Discovery at Rio Bravo
Condor Resources Inc. has announced a significant porphyry copper-molybdenum find at their Rio Bravo project in Peru. Analysis of historical data from a previous operator reveals promising intersections of copper and molybdenum mineralization, initially identified in 2012. Notable drill holes include DDH-01, achieving a 220-meter intercept grading 0.32% copper and 275 ppm molybdenum, presented as 0.51% copper equivalent.
Further evaluations suggest a potentially higher-grade core southeast of previous drill sites. With the porphyry system largely untested, the Rio Bravo project offers significant growth potential for Condor and its stakeholders. Located south-east of Lima, Rio Bravo sits in Peru's prolific copper-molybdenum belt, providing an opportunity for bulk mine extraction.
The extensive data, covering 5,729 meters of drilling and incorporating various geochemical and geophysical assessments, indicates a significant mineralized zone. The porphyry system remains accessible in all directions, offering further exploration opportunities.
