Delivery of the first building in the eco-district in Villerupt

In Villerupt, a new chapter begins with the delivery of the first building in the Cantebonne eco-district by Les Constructeurs du Bois (LCB) for CDC Habitat. This initiative, led by EPA Alzette-Belval, marks the start of an urban transformation on the border with Luxembourg.

Lot 3 includes 36 housing units and commercial spaces, complying with the future thresholds of the RE 2020. The building stands out for its energy efficiency, using a high-performance timber structure to reduce its carbon footprint.

This project, which includes 670 housing units, demonstrates CDC Habitat's commitment to supporting cross-border sustainable development. Philippe Blech and François Duchaine, directors of CDC Habitat and LCB, emphasize the importance of this project within their sustainable development strategy.
