Core Silver Begins Drilling at Key Mining Projects in British Columbia
Core Silver Corp has initiated drilling at the Laverdiere and Silver Lime Projects in British Columbia's Atlin Mining District. Building on previous exploration, the company's program aims to expand mineralization at these sites, focusing on copper and silver discovery.
The Laverdiere Project's 2022 results showed promising copper equivalent (CuEq) percentages, such as 0.31% CuEq over 107.38m from the North Adit and 0.21% CuEq over 267.05m from the French Adit. Surface sampling revealed copper readings of up to 3.24% with significant silver and gold content.
Meanwhile, the Silver Lime Project exhibits high-grade carbonate replacement and skarn mineralization. Notable drilling results include 1.16m of 1,145 g/t Ag from the Grizzly Target and 6.4m of 159 g/t Ag at Pete's Target.
The company remains well-funded for the 2025 exploration program and anticipates further high-grade findings as drilling progresses in unexplored zones.
