CoTec Holdings Expands HDD Processing with Mobile Inserma System
CoTec Holdings Corp. announces the deployment of a third Inserma HDD separation system by its joint venture, HyProMag USA. This mobile processing unit aims to enhance customer engagement capabilities across the United States. The system supports the scalable platform for the recovery and recycling of rare earth magnets from end-of-life HDDs.
This deployment marks a crucial step in the development of the Texas Hub, expected to commence operations in 2028. Feedstock inventories are set to support the initial ramp-up activities. HyProMag USA bolsters its strategic feedstock channels, diversifying into industrial, healthcare, government, and IT sectors.
The mobile Inserma unit also allows on-site recovery programs within data centers. Revenue from commercial sales of PCB material supports the acquisition of feedstock. The initiative underlines CoTec's commitment to sustainable and scalable supply chain solutions.
