Mid-term update of the CoTec project at Lake Jeannine

CoTec Holdings Corp. has released a mid-term update on its project to rehabilitate and valorize tailings from its Lac Jeannine mine in Quebec. The feasibility study is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2027. The project aims to produce a 67% iron concentrate, a potential critical ore for the Quebec and federal governments.

Environmental studies are underway, with a roadmap for permits by 2027. Collaboration continues with local stakeholders, including the Innu communities. The resource recovery process is being tested at Corem, and initial results are promising.
