Sensirion Launches New Compact Flow Sensor Globally

Sensirion AG has introduced the SFM3505-300 and SFM3505-300-X, its next generation of compact flow sensors, now available worldwide. These sensors stand out with a newly designed architecture that offers high performance, minimal noise, and precise accuracy over a flow range from –150 to +300 slm. The SFM3505-300 provides standard accuracy, while the SFM3505-300-X offers higher accuracy.

Utilizing Sensirion's 5th-generation CMOSens® Technology, the SFM3505 integrates sensor components and signal processing into a single microchip. This innovation offers fast, stable digital output, calibrated for air and oxygen, ensuring reliability. It is ideal for applications like mechanical ventilation and anesthesia, due to its low-pressure drop design and efficient performance at varying flow rates.
