Cyan AG Expands Cybersecurity Services with Orange Romania Partnership

Munich-based cyan AG has announced a new phase in its collaboration with Orange Romania, launching an enhanced cybersecurity offering. This new service combines network-based protection for both mobile and fixed broadband customers, aiming to protect against digital threats such as phishing, malware, and trojans without requiring additional software installations.

The initial launch targets private customers and small/home offices (SOHO), with plans to extend to business customers subsequently. Features include DNS-based threat protection, content filtering, blocklisting and allowlisting, and a self-care web interface. This aligns with cyan's strategy to strengthen its presence in the European market and extend cybersecurity solutions to vulnerable segments, including small businesses.

This initiative builds on a partnership initiated in July 2025, emphasizing network-level cybersecurity's increasing significance. Markus Cserna, CEO of cyan AG, emphasized the collaboration's role in bolstering digital security easily and accessibly, addressing the rising threat of online fraud.
