Cypher Metaverse Faces Delays in Financial Filings
Cypher Metaverse Inc. has released its second Default Status Report under National Policy 12-203. The company initially announced a delay in the filing of its annual audited financial statements and other related documents for the year ending December 31, 2024, missing the April 30, 2025 deadline. This delay also affects the filing of its interim unaudited financial statements for the three-month period ending March 31, 2025, which should have been submitted by May 30, 2025.
The Board and management are working with a new auditor to resolve these delays. They assure stakeholders that the interim reports will be submitted within five business days after the pending annual filings.
Cypher plans to continue issuing bi-weekly updates until all filings are complete. If the delays persist, the Canadian Securities Regulatory Authorities may place a trade halt on Cypher's securities.
