Dalata Hotel Group Expands into Berlin with New Clayton Hotel

Dalata Hotel Group PLC has announced the lease agreement for a new Clayton Hotel in Berlin, marking its second hotel in Germany and fourth in Continental Europe. The 274-bedroom Clayton Hotel Tiergarten, previously a Novotel, is set to open in the second half of 2026. The hotel will feature a restaurant, bar, meeting and events facilities, and leisure amenities such as a sauna, steam room, and gym.

The hotel is strategically located on Straße des 17. Juni, close to major attractions like the Brandenburg Gate, and well-connected to transport facilities. The building will boast BREEAM Very Good certification, emphasizing sustainability with district heating and low-energy systems.

Shane Casserly, Deputy CEO, highlighted Berlin's significance as a travel destination and key strategic location for Dalata's European expansion. The refurbishment and development reflect the Group's commitment to sustainable growth and strong partnerships.
