DeFi Technologies Appoints New General Counsel

DeFi Technologies Inc., a company bridging traditional capital markets with decentralized finance, has announced Philippe Lucet as its new General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Lucet brings vast legal expertise from his role as General Counsel of Valour, DeFi's subsidiary known for exchange traded products. He will now handle DeFi Technologies' legal, corporate governance, and regulatory affairs, succeeding Kenny Choi.

Johan Wattenström, CEO and Chairman of DeFi Technologies, stated that Lucet's impressive background in corporate governance and regulatory matters, along with his leadership experience at Valour, makes him well-suited for this role. Lucet's career includes significant positions at companies like Nestlé and Richemont, specializing in corporate law and intellectual property.
