DeFi Technologies' Valour Secures UK Approval for Crypto ETPs
DeFi Technologies Inc. has announced that its subsidiary, Valour Inc., has received regulatory approval from the UK Financial Conduct Authority and the London Stock Exchange. This approval allows Valour to offer select yield-bearing crypto exchange traded products (ETPs) to UK retail investors, starting January 26, 2026.
The approved products include 1Valour Bitcoin Physical Staking and 1Valour Ethereum Physical Staking. These products, previously available only to professional investors, are now accessible to retail investors, providing regulated exposure to Bitcoin and Ethereum with a yield component.
CEO Johan Wattenström highlighted this development as an important step into the UK market, underscoring the significance of offering transparent and exchange-listed products. This initiative aims to bridge traditional capital markets with decentralized finance, expanding reach into evolving digital asset investments.
