Delivery Hero Adjusts Provisions Amid Italian Legal Decision

Berlin, April 11, 2025 – Delivery Hero SE has increased its provisions for legal risks following an Italian court decision regarding the reclassification of delivery riders by its subsidiary Glovo. This adjustment involves non-cash expenses totaling EUR 183 million to cover potential claims from Italian authorities for social security contributions, interests, and fines dating back to 2016. The total provision related to this reclassification now stands at EUR 253 million.

As a result, Delivery Hero has adjusted its preliminary adjusted EBITDA for the fiscal year 2024 from EUR 750 million to EUR 693 million. The company, however, maintains its guidance for fiscal year 2025. These modifications reflect the management's efforts to ensure financial transparency while adhering to legal standards.
