Delivery Hero Exits Thai Market Amid Geostrategy Shift

Delivery Hero SE, a global leader in local delivery services, has announced the cessation of operations for its foodpanda platform in Thailand. The company will stop its food and grocery delivery services on May 23, 2025. This move aligns with Delivery Hero’s continued focus on optimizing its global strategy following recent exits in Denmark, Ghana, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

The decision is part of a broader strategy to concentrate efforts in parts of the Asia-Pacific region where higher returns are anticipated. Despite the exit from Thailand, the regional team responsible for marketing and operations will continue its activities from the country.

Delivery Hero expressed gratitude to its Thai employees, customers, partners, and delivery personnel, emphasizing its commitment to support them through the transition.
