ESPG AG Enhances Minden Facility with ABB AG Lease Extension

Cologne, 20 November 2025 – ESPG AG, a real estate entity focused on science parks, has extended its lease with ABB AG at the POWERHUB Science Park in Minden. This comes after investments that have boosted the site's appeal. Under the contract, ABB will occupy approximately 3,100 square metres, expanding its work in control and automation technologies for wind turbines and grid integration solutions, a presence established since 2000.

The POWERHUB Science Park now offers state-of-the-art commercial spaces, fostering collaboration. This agreement marks a transition for the park from a single-tenant to a multi-tenant model, aiding diversification and sustainable site use.

Markus Drews, CEO of ESPG AG, expressed satisfaction with retaining ABB, highlighting the site's modernization as key to the contract renewal.
