DKSH Enhances Pharma Business with P.R. Chemicals Acquisition

DKSH Management Ltd. has entered an agreement to acquire P.R. Chemicals, a Thai distributor specializing in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). This acquisition is poised to enhance DKSH Performance Materials’ pharmaceutical business and expand its foothold in Southeast Asia's healthcare sector.

Based in Bangkok since 1984, P.R. Chemicals has earned a strong reputation as a distributor in various therapeutic areas, including pain management and cardiovascular care. The company generated over CHF 11 million in 2025 with a workforce of 27 employees. This integration will allow DKSH to widen its customer base and increase cross-selling opportunities in Thailand.

The acquisition, expected to conclude by the end of 2026, is aligned with DKSH's strategy to expand its API platform and strengthen its specialty ingredients sector.
