Gematik Extends DocMorris CardLink Approval Until 2027

gematik has announced an extension of the product approval for DocMorris' CardLink solution until January 2027. This extension allows patients to continue using their electronic health card (eGK) and the DocMorris app for e-prescriptions, paving the way for a smooth transition to the new PoPP technology. PoPP, which stands for Proof of Patient Presence, will enable contactless eGK use without requiring a PIN, maintaining convenience for users.
