DONTNOD Reports Financial Struggles and Initiates Organizational Transformation

DONTNOD's revenue for the first half of 2026 stood at €6.1 million, marking a 14% decrease from the previous year. The company's operating EBITDA revealed a loss of €4.3 million, exacerbating from last year's €2.0 million loss for the same period. These results reflect persistent difficulties in the video game market, characterized by selective financing and challenging economic conditions.

Amid these pressures, DONTNOD has embarked on an organizational transformation plan. The initiative aims to streamline operations by consolidating expertise into a single production line in France, potentially leading to a workforce reduction of up to 90 positions. This plan seeks to enhance operational efficiency and ensure long-term growth.

The CEO, Oskar Guilbert, acknowledges the gravity of these measures but emphasizes their necessity for the company's sustainability beyond January 2027. Negotiations with unions are underway to support affected employees.
