Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA Sees Significant Earnings Boost in Q1 2026

Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA reported a notable increase in earnings for the first quarter of 2026. Net sales rose by 6.9% compared to the same period last year, reaching approximately EUR 766 million. This growth is attributed to the performance of both the medical and safety divisions. The medical division saw a revenue increase of 5.4%, while the safety division's revenue grew by 8.8%.

Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose significantly to EUR 18 million, up from EUR 0.4 million in 2025. The EBIT margin improved to 2.4% from 0.1%, driven by higher net sales and a gross margin increase. Functional expenses were reduced by about EUR 2.7 million. Order intake also saw a rise, increasing to EUR 865 million.

For the remainder of the year, Dräger anticipates a net sales increase between 1.0% and 5.0%, with an EBIT margin of 5.0% to 7.5%. Full results for the first quarter will be released on April 30, 2026.
