Avolta Expands Operations in Norway
Avolta AG, a prominent player in travel retail and F&B, has announced an extension of its operations at Oslo Gardermoen Airport. The company will manage ten new food and beverage outlets, highlighting its partnership with airport operator Avinor.
The outlets, spanning over 2,600 m2, will offer both local and international food concepts. Avolta integrates technology-driven ordering, including self-service food walls, and partners with Klimato to provide carbon footprint insights, promoting eco-friendly dining choices for travelers.
Operations commenced in December 2024, with completion expected in mid-2025. Avolta's presence in Norway also includes Stavanger Airport, featuring the acclaimed Sirkus Renaa and Crafts – Rogaland’s Gastropub.
Walter Seib from Avolta expressed pride in enhancing Oslo Airport’s F&B offerings. Avinor’s Joachim Lupnaav Johnsen reaffirmed the partnership, emphasizing improved dining options for both domestic and international travelers.
