Avolta Secures Duty-Free Concession at Santiago de Chile Airport

Avolta (SIX: AVOL) has been granted a 12-year duty-free concession at Santiago de Chile International Airport by Chile's Directorate General of Civil Aviation and the National Customs Service. This move strengthens Avolta's foothold in Latin America's travel retail sector. The concession will begin in the third quarter of 2026, enhancing Avolta's current operations at the airport.

This agreement includes the management of two large walkthrough duty-free stores, featuring a 3,000 m² departures store and a 2,800 m² arrivals store. These spaces will promote an improved travel retail experience by integrating local culture and offering premium services.

Enrique Urioste, Avolta's President and CEO LATAM, highlighted the trust and understanding gained over years in the region, expressing pride in contributing to Chile's tourism and economic growth while emphasizing a customer-centric approach.
