Avolta Secures Key Contract at Shanghai Pudong Airport
Avolta AG, a prominent travel retailer, announced a significant expansion in the Asia Pacific region with a new multi-store contract at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. This contract marks a strategic milestone for Avolta, enhancing its presence through an additional 1,400 m² of retail and dining space. The expansion includes four F&B outlets such as Wolfgang Puck Kitchen Counter + Bar and HEYTEA, alongside other retail stores.
In collaboration with Shanghai International Airport Co., Ltd, Avolta will contribute to the design of the central public area, enriching the travel experience with premium shopping and dining options. The project aligns with Avolta's Destination 2027 strategic goals, emphasizing innovation in global travel retail.
The new outlets are set to open in the first half of 2025, continuing Avolta's growth momentum following the reopening of two outlets shuttered by the pandemic.
