Avolta Secures Retail Deal at San José International Airport

Avolta AG, a leader in global travel retail, has signed a 12-year contract with San José International Airport through its Hudson brand. This agreement will introduce six retail and travel convenience shops across over 620m² of concession space, featuring three hybrid concepts.

San José International Airport, which welcomed nearly 12 million travelers in 2024, anticipates growth in the coming years. Avolta's retail concepts aim to meet the evolving needs of this high-traffic hub, providing unique products and digital experiences to enhance passenger satisfaction.

SJC Director Mookie Patel highlighted the partnership as a significant development, bringing local offerings into the airport amid upcoming major sporting events in the region.

Avolta aligns this initiative with its Destination 2027 strategy, focusing on a seamless digital experience with in-store technology, self-checkout, and a loyalty program for exclusive travel benefits.
