Changes in the Board of easyJet

easyJet plc has announced key changes to its Board, effective from 1 June 2025. Elyes Mrad will join as a Non-Executive Director and member of the Audit Committee. Mrad, currently Executive Vice President at Hertz International, brings with him extensive experience in EMEA, Latin America, and Asia Pacific.

Concurrently, Dr. Detlef Trefzger will step down from his role as Non-Executive Director to focus on other commitments. Harald Eisenaecher is set to replace Trefzger as Chair of the Safety & Operational Readiness Committee. Sir Stephen Hester, Chair of easyJet, praised Trefzger’s contributions and expressed eagerness to welcome Mrad for his expertise in hospitality and travel.
