Eiffage Secures Second Contract for Madrid Urban Racing Circuit
Eiffage, via its Spanish subsidiary Eiffage Construcción, has been awarded an extension contract at the IFEMA Madrid exhibition centre to support Madrid's new urban racing circuit. Valued at €68 million, the project involves extending Pavilions 1 and 2 and setting up temporary structures for the 2026 Spanish Grand Prix.
The design-build contract includes permanent pavilion extensions and temporary installations for stands, logistics, and VIP areas. Post-event, these temporary structures will be removed, leaving the expanded pavilions as lasting additions.
This initiative adheres to FIA and Formula One Management standards, integrating environmental strategies like low-carbon materials. Previously, Eiffage was involved in constructing Madrid's new Formula 1 circuit in a project worth €83.2 million, evidencing continuing trust from IFEMA Madrid.
