Eiffage to Build Madrid's New Formula 1 Circuit in €83.2 Million Deal

Eiffage, through its subsidiary Eiffage Construcción and in consortium with Acciona, has secured the contract to design and construct the new Madring Formula 1 urban circuit in Madrid, Spain. Valued at €83.2 million, Eiffage's share amounts to €33.3 million.

The contract encompasses temporary infrastructure provision, including construction, assembly, dismantling, and post-race restoration. The project, sponsored by IFEMA Madrid, is positioned northeast of the capital. Environmental efforts include reusing 700,000 m3 of soil, using HCO as fuel, and installing noise-reduction barriers.

Construction will begin in April 2026, aiming for completion by the Spanish Grand Prix in summer 2026. Eiffage Construcción reaffirms its commitment to responsible infrastructure development, enhancing Madrid's global profile.
