CPPIB reduces its stake in ELIS
The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) has announced a change in its shareholding in ELIS. According to a statement received on February 11, 2026, CPPIB now holds 9.05% of ELIS's share capital and 14.92% of its voting rights. This decrease from the 15% voting rights and 10% share capital thresholds is due to an off-market sale of shares completed on February 6, 2026.
Despite holding 21,081,596 shares, CPPIB continues to participate in the governance of ELIS. This transaction highlights strategic adjustments made by the Canadian investment fund, while remaining compliant with the regulatory framework established by the French Commercial Code.
