Emmi Group Honours Top Sustainability Initiatives
On June 25, 2026, during the Emmi Sustainability Day, Emmi Group celebrated outstanding sustainability projects submitted by its employees worldwide. A total of 38 initiatives participated, with three being notably recognized for their innovative contributions to sustainability, consumer value, and market potential.
The first-place honor went to the new Emmi Caffè Latte packaging, which offers a convenient and sustainable consumer experience by eliminating aluminum and PET, making the product fully recyclable. The Emmi Desserts divisions in Europe secured second place, enhancing their B Corp certification from 2022 in a 2025 recertification process, thereby boosting market credibility and customer acquisition.
The Brazilian subsidiary, Laticínios Porto Alegre, took third, introducing a circular packaging solution in a region lacking recycling infrastructure, fostering community development through economic opportunities.
