Energiekontor AG Reports Strong Growth and Future Plans
Energiekontor AG, a prominent developer and operator of renewable energy projects in Germany, has reported solid financial results for 2025. The company achieved Group earnings before taxes (EBT) at the higher end of the forecast range, generating €40.5 million. Sales climbed to €167.9 million, compared to €126.5 million in 2024, with total income reaching €339.1 million.
The proposed dividend per share is €1.00, double that of the previous year. Despite challenges in the market, particularly project delays in the UK and Germany, Energiekontor managed a significant increase in earnings from project development. The company sold seven wind projects totaling 209 megawatts, underscoring its growth in the renewable sector.
Energiekontor's own wind and solar park capacity expanded to 448 megawatts. Looking ahead, the firm maintains a robust project pipeline of 12.2 gigawatts and anticipates EBT for 2026 to range between €40 to €60 million as it navigates regulatory uncertainties.
