Energiekontor AG Secures Lucrative PPAs for Wind Parks
Energiekontor AG, a prominent German developer and operator of wind and solar parks, announced the acquisition of attractive power purchase agreements (PPAs) for its post-EEG wind parks. With a focus on sustainability, the company continues to highlight the economic viability of renewable energy projects.
The Bremen-based firm currently manages 39 parks with a collective capacity of 448 megawatts. In Germany, 28 wind parks and several solar parks contribute to this portfolio. Energiekontor has secured PPAs for 17 wind parks with over 100 megawatts capacity for 2026 and 2027, reinforcing economic sustainability amidst global energy discussions.
Expansion and modernization efforts include nine additional projects under construction, emphasizing Energiekontor's commitment to renewable energy growth. CEO Peter Szabo expressed confidence in the company's capacity to deliver stable power solutions and further expand portfolio operations.
