Lukas Enzersdorfer-Konrad Joins Erste Group from Bitpanda

Erste Group Bank AG has announced the appointment of Lukas Enzersdorfer-Konrad as Executive Director Group Asset Management. He will assume this newly created leadership role in the first quarter of 2027, reporting directly to CEO Peter Bosek. This position entails the responsibility of leading an integrated asset management strategy across eight core markets, serving 23 million customers.

Enzersdorfer-Konrad brings experience from Bitpanda, where he transformed the crypto broker into a regulated investment platform. His expertise is expected to enhance Erste Group's investment solutions, ensuring a consistent and digital approach. Collaboration with Robert Kubin, CEO of Erste Asset Management, aims to drive further innovation.

Peter Bosek expressed confidence in Enzersdorfer-Konrad’s ability to simplify investments, crucial for engaging younger generations looking for intuitive and attractive investing options. This alignment with evolving customer expectations is key in shifting focus from saving to investing. Regulatory approvals are pending before the official start of his tenure.
