ESGold Corp Expands Montauban Claims

ESGold Corp has announced the acquisition of 44 additional mineral claims in Montauban, Québec, totaling 2,448 hectares. The expansion strengthens its position around the Montauban Gold-Silver Project, adding exploration potential along a mineralized trend. The acquisition involves $70,000 cash and 600,000 shares valued at $0.50 each. Completion is expected within 30 days, pending customary approvals.

The new claims include historically documented polymetallic zones with significant mineralization around Lac Viking, Lac Lanctôt, and Lac Charlie. Historical highlights report significant gold, zinc, copper, and silver values from previous drilling and sampling. However, these results have not been independently verified by ESGold.

The Montauban district features a polymetallic mineral system associated with metamorphosed volcanogenic massive sulphides. ESGold's ongoing exploration efforts involve district-scale surveys and 3D modeling to better understand subsurface structures. This acquisition offers the company flexibility in prioritizing exploration targets with new data integration.
