North Atlantic acquires ExxonMobil's stake in Esso SAF
On September 24, 2025, ExxonMobil France Holding and North Atlantic France signed a landmark agreement to acquire ExxonMobil's stake in Esso SAF and ExxonMobil Chemical France SAS. This agreement comes after the necessary legal consultation with employees. However, completion remains subject to regulatory approvals and financing agreements expected in the last quarter of 2025.
The Esso SAF Board of Directors has scheduled a General Meeting for November 4, 2025. It will deliberate on the distribution of reserves of €60.21 per share, as well as a change of corporate name. In addition, disposals to the ExxonMobil group have been approved, including the lubricants business for €8 million.
Esso SAF is committed to continuing its operations and serving its customers during this important transition.
