Europlasma requests judicial reorganization for FDB Industries

Europlasma, an industrial group specializing in pollution control, has filed for receivership for its subsidiary FDB Industries. This request was submitted to the Commercial Court of Lorient, following consultation with the works council. If approved, an observation period will begin, allowing for the stabilization of operations and the resolution of key issues related to the production shutdown.

Europlasma acquired FDB Industries in 2025 to preserve a strategic industrial site, despite a fluctuating automotive market. However, a fire in January 2026 halted production, compounded by an electrical incident in June, jeopardizing the projected resumption of operations. This situation has strained the company's cash flow and limited Europlasma's financial support, thus justifying the filing for receivership.
