EUROPLASMA: Strategic takeover of the Fonderie de Bretagne
Europlasma, an industrial specialist in pollution control and decarbonization, will take over the Fonderie de Bretagne as of May 1, 2025. This takeover will maintain 90% of the 266 jobs and will enable the diversification of activities towards the defense sector, meeting growing demand in Europe for medium and large caliber hollow bodies.
The project is based on customer diversification beyond the automotive industry, the modernization of production facilities, and increased energy autonomy through renewable sources. In addition to Renault and the French government, Europlasma is investing €15 million in equity, thus consolidating its position in strategic sectors.
